My name is Reverb, I am the bureaucrat of 13 Reasons Why Wiki . I hope that you're in good health and are doing fine.
I am here to request for an affiliation between the Shadowhunters TV Wiki and the 13 Reasons Why Wiki. With this affiliation, I hope that we can collaborate to improve both of our Wikis and help each other in the future whenever in need.
If the affiliation is approved, we can exchange wiki wordmarks and add them to respective communities.
Please let me know if you need any additional information regarding my wiki.
Thank you for your time and consideration! Have a nice day!
Hello Rwtia64! My name is SilverFlight, or Silver, the Wiki Manager for Shadowhunters. I'm here if you need any help or assistance on issues and queries related to the wiki community, plus I will be a liaison for staff help if you need further assistance. Feel free to leave me a message on my wall if you have a question.
In addition, I'm happy to inform you that Fandom is upgrading its MediaWiki platform to accommodate MediaWiki extensions. You can read more about here on the blog post.
If you have any questions, let me know how I can help.
Hi Rwtia64, my name is Elsa and I am a Community Manager of the TV/Movies vertical for Fandom. I wanted to introduce myself and see if you need anything, have any problems, or would like to share any ideas you have. As you may already know, our Community Org is changing. From now on our team will focus even more on building closer relationships with the communities, admins, and users.
I together with a Wiki Manager will help you solve any issues on this wiki and to make this community even more successful. We are here to support you and help make this community thrive. If you need anything, feel free to contact me at any time. :)
I am a moderator over at the Charmed Wiki and I was hoping the two Wikis can become affiliates. Both shows feature magic and have great LGBT representation among the main characters so I believe it can be a great fit for our communities. Please let me know what you and the other staff think and decide. Thank you in advance!
As far as I'm concerned, there is actually only one plot summary in the entire wiki on the episodes (I might be wrong). I've been working on plot summaries for some of the other episodes. Please tell me if you don't want this to happen. Rest assured, I've watched all episodes billions of times, so there won't be any wrong information in the summaries.
As long as they are finished before or shortly after publishing, they're welcome. :)
You are, however, not supposed to change the content under Synopsis because those are from official press releases for the episode. (Also, why capitalize "intel"? And we use the American English spelling of words.)
Hi, so, I've have annoyed u before in the other wiki with something like this but I'll try to go straight to the point, I was more childish back then. There are some runes shown in the show that either don't have their own page, or have a completely unknown purpose, or are shown partially.
I've been reviewing some stuff so the thing is:
Can I add them to the runes' page? (maybe add a category called "unknown runes?")
Can I upload a cleaned up version made by myself or maybe upload the most clear image I can find?
In case you're wondering, I'm talking about runes like the "Deactivate Soul Sword", "Unlock" (used to unchain Ithuriel, unchain Clary herself and opening the door at the Gaard), "Hear" (used so Cleophas could hear Ithuriel's lament), a rune shown at the background during Clary's trial and another one at the door of the morgue (visible only on a picture took during the filming of the scene). Also, maybe a full-shown portal rune?
Sorry if I'm annoying u, I just want to help with this wiki :0C
Also no to the category called "Unknown runes". There's a Runes by Clary Fairchild category for that. The other "unknown" runes (ones that haven't been named) can just be added to the runes page in a table format for now under the Known runes section.
A quick read-through of image policies should help ensure that none of your edits/uploads violate them.
Can't say it's fanart because you're working with copyrighted material (the runes are designed by a different artist, you can't claim those even if you make your own version). For licensing, digital should do it. "Digital rendition of image" for type for now. Yes, link to your page for source and put "(uploader)" after your username + yes the episode where you got the image from. Yes to the designer field.
I'll set it up for you on the runes page. But if you end up not having descriptions for the runes, you can go ahead and just remove the table and add the images to the gallery (please use source mode when editing).
And yes, that infobox is fine. (I just removed it from your post because that was going to create some nasty redlinks for me.)
Update: It's there now, at the bottom of the Known runes section.
I will do Shapeshifting soon, I want to find a clear flat image of it first. I've finished adding the others, you can check if it looks right while I fill the infoboxes of the pics. Also, would you like if I added the Circle rune? then, the only screencap left would be the Tracking one, since it is still quite suspicious why it is like the Bridge one.
Great work! :) Sure about the Circle rune. Also I never did notice that there was a difference in the "tracking" and "tracked" runes when Alec tracked Jace, good work on that. And yeah, you seem right about the Tracking rune. I'll try to look up more instances of the rune being used, and if I don't find any other Tracking rune, I'll make a Tracking rune page to point it out and maybe remove the Bridge rune from the list or something.
Thanks! I noticed something was different between both parabatais when I was googling it. I already added the Circle rune but with a red tone, and clarified in the description that it always appears as a reddish-colored protruding mark (side note: probably because it isn't a real rune, so it just hurts the skin??). Also, good luck with the Tracking rune thing! I'll be checking when new episodes are released to maintain the page updated with clean renders :)
Sure. Per Wikia's ToU and CC-BY-SA, the credit has to be something similar to one of the examples listed here (as in a line that credits specifically the English wiki and links to the history page as well) on the article itself. Here are pt-br and es's versions for reference.
