Maria was a vampire sired by Camille Belcourt.[1]
History[]
Maria and her husband, Reggie, used to have a bustling business—the pizza parlor Reggie's. This all ended after Maria was Turned by Camille Belcourt into a vampire, and the pizza place was made into a vampire den.[2] Maria apparently fed on and killed her husband.
In 2016, Valentine Morgenstern went to Reggie's with Jace Wayland, who proceeded to slaughter the vampires whom he either saw feeding on mundanes or those who attacked him. Maria then confronted him and tried to escape death by surrendering to the Clave to Jace, making it illegal to kill her because of the Accords. She became provoked when Valentine mentioned Reggie and Jace accused her of killing him. She attacked him, and she collided with Jace's stake, killing her and making her dissipate instantly.[1]
