Lindsay is one of the many Shadowhunters in New York.
Biography[]
When Clary Fairchild was hearing disturbing noises that only she could hear, she asked Lindsay if she heared them, but Lindsay denied hearing anything. She later caught Isabelle Lightwood looking for Yin fen in Victor Aldertree's office. Isabelle lied to Lindsay that she was there on Aldertree's orders and told her to get back to work.[1]
While Shadowhunters were being unstoppably murdered and their runes cut-off by Downworlders, Lindsay walked in with the dead bodies of Penmount and Rosegreen. Penmount was drained to death by a vampire, while Rosegreen was lanced by a Seelie Knight.[2]
Lindsay was present when Alec Lightwood became the new head of the New York Institute. She expressed to Duncan, another Shadowhunter, her disapproval of the Institute's leadership being passed to Alec, because of the fact that he is dating Magnus Bane, the High Warlock of Brooklyn, and also she opposed his decision of making weekly meetings with the leaders of the Downworld, since Downworlders should not be allowed inside the Institute. They were heard by Isabelle who, in defense of her brother, told Lindsay and Duncan to show some respect.[3]
When Clary was looking for Alec, she asked Lindsay where he was, and she told Clary that Alec might be in his office. Though Lindsay was concerned about Clary, she reassured her, telling Lindsay that she needed to update Alec with some new information she just found.[4]
Lindsay was present during the power failure at the Institute caused by Jace Herondale (under the influence of Lilith) when he was ordered to take care of Morgan Young, the possessed mundane who was in custody at the Institute. Lindsay and Underhill were forced to restart the system manually. After some efforts and difficulties, they manage to relaunch everything in ten minutes.[5]
While Isabelle was working on the Glorious sword to separate Clary from her brother Jonathan Morgenstern, whose lives were bounded to one another, she instructed Lindsay to prevent anyone from interrupting her. However, she was unable to do this when Jordan Kyle and Maia Roberts arrived at the Institute, insisting that it was urgent, to discuss with her and Simon Lewis about a remaining Heavenly Fire vial.[6]
Lindsay was among the Shadowhunters who were made aware by Alec that many Institutes worldwide were being targeted by Jonathan, killing both mundanes and shadowhunters in his path. They were then contacted by Robert Lightwood and Max Lightwood, who informed that Jonathan attacked the L.A. Institute, killing everyone inside but sparing them both. Following Jonathan's defeat, Lindsay later attended Alec and Magnus' wedding.[7]

Trivia[]
- Lindsay appeared in a deleted scene of the episode Iron Sisters in which Jace asked her to help him log in to the Insitute's database, due to his account being blocked following his brief imprisonment at the City of Bones for high treason, in order to find more information about the mysterious rune Clary drew, to no avail, as there were no results about such rune.
