The location of the restaurant is obscure enough that few mundanes frequent it to dine,[1] allowing Shadow World affairs to occur and be conducted with little risk of discovery.[2] The bulk of their business comes from making food deliveries, with moo shu pork being their most popular item.[3]

- In the books, the Jade Wolf is only glamoured as a restaurant but is actually an abandoned police station in Chinatown; on the show, it is instead Hunter's Moon that is in Chinatown, and there are undercover werewolves stationed as actual detectives at the active local police station.
