Chairman Meow is a cat owned by the non-magic practicing warlock Magnus Bane in the dimension where the culture of the Shadow World technically no longer exists.
History[]
When Clary Fairchild traveled to the Alternate dimension to try to find out where Valentine Morgenstern had her mother, Jocelyn Fray, she saw a television commercial for a warlock named Magnus Bane.
As in this dimension, the demons had never invaded the world, the Shadowhunters had never been created and therefore the Shadow World did not exist, so Magnus did not practice the magic. When Clary went to see him at her house, he had two cats: Chairman Meow and Church.[1]
