Adam John Harrington is a Canadian-American actor and producer. He portrayed Michael Wayland in the first season of Shadowhunters.

Adam's appearance on Shadowhunters was kept under wraps because of the nature of his role. However, his appearance was first leaked when a video of him training with the actor of his onscreen son Dominic Sherwood was posted by the show's then stunt coordinator Steve Lucescu who unknowingly let slip a spoiler by calling them "Jace and Wayland",[1] shortly after the casting side for Michael Wayland was released online.[2]
